Imagine Coldplay meets Angélique Kidjo and Nico & Vinz, and they jam to an evocative fusion of Afro-inspired rhythms and pop-influenced melodies...this is the type of sound that satisfies my soul, this is the type of music that his head and heart like to conjure up. In addition to the aforementioned people, my overall music style takes inspiration from musicians such as Laura Mvula and Osibisa.

Due to the fact that my instruments of choice are djembe, dondo/tama, and other percussion, and due to my background as a writer, I find that my lyrics tend to channel the heightened awareness of language that poets possess and that my tunes are usually delivered via rich instrumentation that blends the soundscapes of the African diaspora with a Western pop flavoring.
